Terms of Service

1. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern any enquiry, order or purchase made through finesttranslations.com, operated by finesttranslations, Avinguda de Campanar 130, Campanar, 46015 València, Spain (support@finesttranslations.com). By placing an order or submitting the contact form, you agree to these terms.
2. The services
We provide certified & sworn translation, legal & corporate translation, medical & pharmaceutical translation, technical & engineering translation, financial & business translation, website & software localization, interpreting, and transcription & subtitling, as described on /services and priced on /pricing. Descriptions, scope and indicative prices on each service page form part of the offer for that service.
3. How an order is placed
For fixed-scope services, you choose a package (and any options, such as urgent turnaround or certified hard-copy delivery), add it to your cart, and complete the four-step checkout. For bespoke work — currently, website & software localization and multi-day interpreting bookings — you submit your requirements through the contact form and we reply with a price before any work begins. A contract is formed once we confirm your order or quote in writing (by email).
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros, exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise, with VAT (21%, Spain) itemised separately at checkout. The urgent (24h) surcharge is 35% on the relevant package or per-word rate; the minimum order across all services is €45. This site's checkout is a demonstration flow: no payment is actually collected, and no card data is requested, stored or transmitted anywhere in it. Real orders are settled by bank transfer or on invoice, as confirmed by email after you submit your order reference.
5. Your obligations
You're responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the source document or content you send us, and for confirming the target language(s) and any specific formatting the receiving authority, counterparty or platform requires. We translate what we are given; we are not responsible for errors, ambiguities or omissions present in your source material.
6. Delivery and turnaround
We deliver on the turnaround stated on the relevant service page and confirmed at checkout or in our quote. Standard turnaround is 3–4 business days; urgent orders are delivered within 24 hours of confirmed order and payment terms; short sworn certificates can often be same-day. Turnaround for bespoke or high-volume work is confirmed individually before you commit.
7. Confidentiality and intellectual property
We treat every document and every conversation about it as confidential, and can sign your non-disclosure agreement on request. Ownership of the translated deliverable transfers to you on full payment; we do not use your content for any purpose beyond producing and delivering your order, except where retaining it is required by law.
8. Liability
We deliver every order through the four-step process described on /process. If we make an error or omission, we will correct it free of charge or, where correction isn't possible, refund the affected part of the order. Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
9. Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer ordering from within the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Spanish and EU consumer law, subject to the exception for services you have expressly asked us to begin before that period ends.
10. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something's gone wrong, email support@finesttranslations.com and we'll do our best to put it right directly. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute not resolved directly or through the ODR platform is subject to the courts of València, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that entitle you to bring proceedings in your own place of residence within the EU.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order, identified by its "Last updated" date.
